SHALINI L. MAHARAJ, O.D.
Shalini L Maharaj, O.D. received her optometry degree in 2003 from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She received her bachelor's degree in Life Science from Nova Southeastern University. Her clinical training included experience at Braverman Eye Center and Aran Eye Associates in South Florida which emphasized ocular disease management. She also worked at The Pinnacle Eye Center in Melbourne, Fla., for four years which specialized in the treatment and management of glaucoma. Dr. Maharaj has practiced in a private practice setting for the past four years. Dr. Maharaj relocated here to the Mt. Pleasant, S.C., area two years ago with her husband who is a dentist in North Charleston. Dr. Maharaj is dedicated to providing quality and compassionate eye care and developing long-term relationships with her patients. She practices full-scope optometry, ranging from comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens examinations to disease management. Dr. Maharaj welcomes patients of all ages. |
